Up at 500am. Mike and I left for Kaw lake at 530. As we were putting the boat in, saw the bearings on the driver's side of the trailer had blown and we were about to lose the wheel. Pulled back up to the parking area and assessed we were in trouble. Long story short, AutoZone and O'Reilley's in Ponca City were open. TC and Tyler came over to Kaw instead of going to Oolagah and we finally were able to rebuild the wheel. Had to use a small hook file to file down the spindle enough to get the new bearings on. Went ahead and put in about 1230 and fished until around 4pm and headed home. hot and tired. Took Terri to Monterey's for supper, rested and to bed. Oh and while waiting on parts I fished off the dock and caught a crappie and while moving from one brush pile to another I was trolling my lure and caught a sand bass. That was it for the day. bummer for sure but a good education on boat ownership.
