Friday, June 18, - Monday, June 21

Wow. Where has the time gone. Missed my morning postings the past few days. Friday, June 18, was busy at work all day. Can't remember anything unusual. After work, Nathan and his friend Neal, and I took the boat out. Fished the dam, the rocks, back to the dam and then loaded the boat and fished below the dam. No luck this trip. Boat still taking on water. Motor runs very good, but controls are a bit temperamental. Humminbird worked great. Going to be a good fishing boat. We got in around 1am. Short night. Saturday, June 19, up and took Gidget to the vet for her first checkup with our Dr. Gave her a needed shot and treated her for worms. Sounds pretty healthy. Ornery little creature for sure. worked on the boat, then we got around and met Mom & Dad at Rib Crib for all you can eat ribs for Father's day. Had a great visit and the ribs were very good. Home to rest. Wanted to go fishing again, but too hot and just didn't have the energy to face it. Sunday, June 20. Up and to church. Nathan and Allyson came to first service. Ally gave me some new shirts. 2 for fishing and one I can wear to work. will wear it Monday. Very cool. Talked to Meg. Worked on the boat some more. I get frustrated with my lack of organization and inability to figure things out. Takes me so long to do stuff. Will get it done eventually. I did figure out why it was taking on water. Live well drain was disconnected and since it drains below the water line, was letting water come into the boat. Fixed that problem. Ate left over chicken and noodles for lunch with cantaloupe. YUM. Rested and then met Allyson and Nathan at Mazzio's for Pizza and salad. Went to watch Allyson play softball at 8pm. Not too bad out. Went home and to bed. Monday, June 21. Up and to work. Busy day. Had to meet groomer at the house. Nice service and Jojo can now get groomed without being traumatized by a trip. Home and working on the boat. Planned on fishing but Nathan couldn't go due to other plans, so worked on boat. Mike came by Sunday afternoon and helped me figure out where to put the trolling motor and batteries. Now to get that project done. Frustrated as I can't seem to get it worked out. Can't find the right power cable. Will call a dealer service center tomorrow. Finally just went to bed.
